The Del Mar Racetrack hosts one of the most festive horse racing seasons in the country each summer — opening day alone draws over 40,000 fashion-forward fans to the infield, grandstands, and private suites. The San Diego County Fair at Del Mar Fairgrounds is one of the largest county fairs in the nation, with 1.6 million visitors over its annual run. And Torrey Pines Golf Course, host of multiple US Opens, draws elite tournaments and corporate outings to its clifftop greens above the Pacific.
Lux Dumps brings luxury restroom trailers to Del Mar’s most prestigious events. The fair’s massive outdoor footprint requires supplemental restroom capacity that scales to the event — our multi-station trailers are built for exactly this, handling high-volume traffic while maintaining the clean, fresh experience that reflects well on the event overall. Private boxes and hospitality suites at the racetrack benefit from dedicated trailer units positioned near premium viewing areas.
Del Mar Village’s boutique event scene, private estate weddings on the coastal bluffs, and charity events at the beach clubs all share one quality: the guests attending expect premium service at every touch point. Our trailers arrive polished, stocked, and staffed — giving your guests an experience that matches the rest of what Del Mar delivers.

Del Mar venues and events
Del Mar is small, expensive and dominated by one very large venue. The fairgrounds and racetrack host the county fair, the summer racing season and a year-round calendar of shows and events, all of which generate restroom demand in sharp concentrated peaks and across multi-day runs — classic trailer territory where throughput at peak matters more than headline capacity.
Away from the fairgrounds, Del Mar is a compact beachside town of high-value residential property. Private events here are on tight lots with limited street frontage and real expectations around discretion.
Event-district logistics and village constraints
Fairgrounds work runs to the venue’s own schedule: designated load-in windows, controlled service routes and vendor requirements. Village residential work is the opposite problem — very little kerb space, narrow access, and placement that has to be agreed in advance because there is nowhere to improvise.
North County and coastal San Diego live under the marine layer for much of late spring and early summer — overcast mornings that burn off late, and evenings that turn genuinely cool regardless of the daytime high. We size climate control for the end of the night rather than the middle of the afternoon, and coastal shoulder-season events frequently want heat that an inland date on the same day would not.
Sand and salt air are constants near the coast. Fine sand tracks into a trailer relentlessly without matting or a defined approach path, and beach-adjacent ground will not hold jack stands without wide load-spreading pads. If your setup position is sand rather than a paved pad, say so on the quote form.
Permits and delivery
The City of Del Mar requires permits for events on public property, beaches or involving street closure, and beach events carry additional requirements. Fairgrounds events are governed by the venue’s own process.
San Diego County is among the furthest we travel from our Redlands yard — typically two hours or more depending on the corridor and the hour. That is entirely workable, but it makes scheduling deliberate: we plan arrival well ahead of guests, and for early-morning events we will often stage the day before where the venue permits it.
